The Federal Republic of Germany issued a 200 Mark banknote with the portrait of the German chemist and bacteriologist PAUL EHRLICH, a founder of modem chemotherapy.
He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1908 for the discovery of salvarsan.
