The State of Israel has honored the Zionist dreamers, the founders of the state and the government leaders on its bank notes : Theodor Herzl, Chaim Weizman, Vladimir Jabotinsky, David Ben-Gurion, Moshe Sharett, Golda Meir, Levi Eshkol, Zalman Shazar, Itzchak Ben Zwi., as well as the writers Shmuel Agnon and Chaim Nachman Bialik
Also pictured on Israel’s paper money were Jewish personalities who lived in other countries : the philosopher Moshe Maimonides , the philantropists Moshe Montefiore and Edmond de Rothschild, the scents ALBERT EINSTEIN and the founder of Hadassah Women Organization Henriette Szold.
